Easily Switch Between Open Programs on Your Computer

It's Day 64, and today we'll focus on managing open programs. If you have several programs open at once, you can easily switch between them without closing anything.

Macbook with program toolbarHow to Switch Between Open Programs:

  1. On Windows: Use the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen to see all open programs. Click on any program to bring it to the front. You can also press Alt + Tab to quickly switch between open apps.

  2. On Mac: The Dock at the bottom of the screen shows all running apps. Click any icon to switch to that program, or press Cmd + Tab to move between open apps.

Why It's Important:

Being able to switch between programs quickly helps you multitask. Whether you're working on a document while checking your email, or browsing the web while writing, this is a valuable skill.

Try It Out:

Open a few programs, then practice switching between them using the Taskbar (Windows) or Dock (Mac). Use keyboard shortcuts to speed up the process.

Pro Tip:

If your computer is running slowly with too many programs open, close any apps you're not using to free up memory.
